How can i keep my hair straight??!!?

ok so every night i style my hair so it is perfectly straight and perfect texure for the next day. but then after i wake up in the morning it goes back to being all wavy. what can i do so it stays straight just like it was that night?? do you have any tricks or ideas??

Well, you can keep it straight, even through the night, but it takes a lot of effort. I have wavy hair and the only way I have found to keep my hair straight through the night is by following a specific routine. First of all, I use John Frieda frizz ease serum straight out of the shower. I put it on and let my hair dry about half way. Then I blow dry it using a product by VO5, called Miracle!. If you have thick hair, like me, you will have to separate your hair into layers(with a clip) and spray on the Miracle! and blow out with a big, vented round brush. Make sure you pull downwards while you dry to really straighten your hair. Also, make sure you always keep the dryer pointing downward on your hair. Then I let the clip out, spray that layer and do the top half of my hair. If it still looks a little frizzy or wavy, I will smooth on John Freida, finishing touch creme. Even after sleeping on my hair, it still is straight in the morning. I think as long as you use the right product, you will easily be able to keep your hair straight. PS..during the summer when it is really humid, I spray a small amount of John Frieda hairspray, frizz barrier on as well. I hope this helps! I know how annoying wavy hair can be. Good luck!

WHATEVER you do, do not relax your hair with a relaxant. YOu can't keep naturally wavy hair sraight throughthe night, especially if you live somewhere humid. Just blow it dry with a round brush.

Hi there I have a niece with the same problem. What I would do is go and buy a cheap perm that would be compatible with your hair (a perm for caucasian hair)....Yes a Perm (like in curls, but read on there is more to the story)....Apply the perm solution to your hair (WITHOUT ROLLING IT). Comb it out, straight!!! (the only thing is you have to make sure to stay straight up during the processing time. Then after processing timerinse, dry really really really well (with papertowels, yes paper towels, until not that much comes back damp, keep using the paper towels, even if it takes the whole roll), apply the neutralizer, comb out the hair straight again, stay up straight til done, and wait the processing time. Rinse thoroughly!!!! (after you do this, you need to wait on washing your hair at least 3 days, so the perm has time to settle and lock in!!) Hope that works out well for you. And that should ease up some of your styling time involved in the morning, because anytime you sleep after styling, it's never going to look the way you want it too in the morning.....

I recommend that you do this early in the morning rather than the night before. I personally use Tresemm鑼?thermal creations heat tamer protective spray. You can find it at Walgreen's or any other drugstore. You can use it on wet hair before blow drying and/or on dry hair before using a flat iron. it minimizes the damages of heat while straightening the hair.
