i guess i wont tell you to buy a better one. I'm gonna guess you already have a good ceramic straightener then because you'd know that they already help in that matter. They are more gentle on the hair and dont burn it like the cheap ones. Your hair isnt going to stay straight too well if its dry and damaged, but you already know that. Plus, they do get your hair straighter than the cheap ones and its easier to keep your hair straight all day if it begins that way.
