i am not really sure, my hair is normally really hard to handle too, just put a sheen of some sort on it after you straighten it. Oh, and when you straighten it then use very high heat and use a heat protectant for your hair that way it doesnt burn or anything. Thats normally what i do and my hair is HORRIBLE!

Ok, this will work for you....im about 99% sure ^_^

buy sunsilk anti-poof shampoo, conditioner, and 24/7 cream. Wash your hair as regular, condition, and such, when you get out, dry your hair "almost" completley, when your hair is damp, put 1 to 2 dollups of the 24/7 creme in your hair, depending upon the length and thickness. Brush your hair out, let air dry, and dont brush it anymore, that will cause friss. When it is perfectly dry, then begin straightening your hair. Dont buy conair or anything like that, they do not work. Instead, buy a revlon straightener, turn it up all the way, and let it heat up for a couple of minutes. Then pull your hair up into a "half up, half down" kinda thing, straighten the hair underneath until it is perfectly straightened, then release some more hair, straighten it until it is perfectyl straight, and continue until all of your hair is completed. ^_^
