DONT buy those self perms from the store... they dont work, they will only work for one day at the most. invest in going to the beauty salon. it will be costly, but gives your hair great effects!

Depends really on how you lost the straight hair. Did you swicth localities or you know, move to a new place with difference in weather/temperature etc. or maybe something else?

There's no way to do it permanently without going the chemical route. Your hair has just gone through a change and there's really nothing you can do about it. When I was really little, my hair was VERY curly, then at about the age of 6 it became straight as an arrow. My hair made it's last change at the age of 13 when it became curly again. You can get a chemical straightener (either at the salon or at home), or you can use an iron. There's no other easy solution. Sorry. You'll come to love your waves in time. Good Luck!

What does that mean? You dont want to chemically straighten? You dont want to flat iron?
If your hair has "lost there shine and silkiness" you can use a deep conditioner
but a "homemade idea?"
Does that mean u want a recipe for homemade conditioner?
Put some mayonaise in your hair and learn to write , it doesnt have to be elaborate or have perfect grammar but it should at least make some sense

If your hair is naturally wavy then there is no way to Permanently make it straighter.
If the wave is a perm, time will return the natural straight.
In the mean time, check the variety of shampoos/conditioners that claim to control frizzes. They help with either an old perm or natural wave and return the shine/silkiness.
A quick hair treatment for the shine/silk is mayonnaise because it is loaded with protein. Just a little bit for about 5-10 minutes then wash real good and finish with conditioner.
