Before blow drying hair always use a heat protection products. I use "bumble and bumble straight" on top of "bumble and bumble styling lotion". Remove moisture then blow dry hair in direction that you want it to lay using your fingers or paddle brush. After you get it pretty straight section hair in smaller sections and use a flat iron. Comb section down and follow with flat iron. Remember when putting heat on your hair you don't want to burn it so make sure you protect it with something.
