I straighten my hair almost every day, and I use a few products that help keep my hair healthy so it is not so damaged by my straightener. The problem is that my hair is wavy again by the end of the day, causing me to have to restraighten it if i am going anywhere, so I was hoping that someone could help me find a good product that will keep my hair straight through the whole day, and maybe one that protects my hair too.

Right now I am useing some product by Bed Head to help with frizz, also a leave in conditionair and then a product that protects my hair from heat. I plan on still using some of these so I was just hoping someoen could help. Please and Thanks!!

I use a CHI. I can sleep overnight and it'll be straight in the morning.

Sounds like you may need less products and a better straightening iron- have you considered using a Chi- I use a Chi iron on my naturally curly hair and can go 4-5 days without re-doing my hair, maybe just a touch up every so often, but nothing major. I use Redken Straightening Gel, and Redken Glass when I am done, and my hair looks like it belongs to someone else, it looks so healthy and shiny and straight. If you do get a Chi, go on Ebay, got my 2" iron for $70.00- well well worth it!

hmmmm. id have to go with a chi straightner and dont forget to use product so your hair doesnt fry. and you dont have to wash ur hair everyday. so take advantage of that. ur hair always looks smoother on the second day if you straighten it. unless you have super curly hair. then you might want to re staighten it. there is also the classic blowdryer which works as well.

you could always go to the hairdressers to have your hair permanently straightened, this way its a one off treatment,until your hair grows back of course, and it really does keep straight, other than that, why do you not like wavy hair, embrace what you have

well which straightener do you use.. because i have a chi and it keeps my hair straight all day.. i found that sometimes when i put straightening serum or cream (like B.Y, or light a pantene straightening cream) in my hair it makes the waves come out by the end of the day .. but just using a chi and nothing else seems to work well ..but if u have to use a product, then the chi serum works well, its the only one that works for me and keeps it straight all day
