I have shoulder length very thick hair. I have quite short layers and a side fringe. I can't afford ghd's right now so does anyone know any tips for getting you hair to stay straight and not frizz or bounce up???? I do have straigtners they are called halos (ebay) and are ceramic but not that amazing.

if you spray a little hair spray on your hair before you straighten it and then a little bit after and brush through it, it wont be all crunchy, but it will still stay straight.

buy the shampoo herbal essence - dangerously straight. at like target or walmart its probly 12 bucks. its pink. thats what i use and a hair dryer. cuase my hair is like wavy and i like straight hair so yea.

Try putting your hair in sections. 5 is usually enough for very thick hair. Go from neck to the top of your head. Make sure to use heat protection spray, to stop your hair drying out and getting damaged. =]
