I know a few stylists and they all agree for curly hair to behave and straighten out use a relaxer.

you could pull your hair back in a low, loose ponytail

there's not a lot you can do to keep it straight though, b/c it'll get wavy or messed up, even if you brush it through

OH OH OH I HAVE THE PERFECT ANSWER TO THIS QUESTION.

i do this everyday for school, i have naturally really curly and frizzy hair.

what i do is i straighten it at night, and then put it in a low pony tail and sleep wiht it in.

then the next morning you take about 5 minutes to straighten where the binder left a crease mark, ( the rest of your hair will be straight though ) and then your done=]

try using a serum or striaghtening cream when straightening your hair, this works really well.

wrap your hair in a scarf (ask somebody with ethnic hair to show you how)

Besides keeping my hair in a ponytail, I also try to use a satin pillowcase. That way the hair doesn't get messed up. If you can't find a satin pillowcase, just cover your pillow with a slip. It works!
