How can I keep my hair straight???

My hair is VERY VERY thick!!! %26amp; VERY VERY curly!!!

I don閳ユ獩 want to get it chemically straightened or anything.....

I just wanted to know is there anything that will help me keep my hair straight all day...whenever I flat iron it...like five minutes later it starts to get poofy and curl......WHAT CAN I DO????

I have thick long frizzy poofy hair. I use Frizz-Ease Straight Answer spray.

I put my hair in four sections while it's wet and do one section at a time. I spray like five pumps and comb through and then blow dry it. After I'm done blow drying I put Paul Mitchell super skinny serum and flat iron small one inch sections at a time.

This works great for me and keeps my hair super straight till i wash it. It only gets super straight and stays when I use the Frizz-Ease spray. You can get it like at walmart.

3. blow dry it as stright as you can get it.

4. strighten it with a strightner

5. spray it with air spray

6. strighten it again

7. brush it

8. hair spray again.

I would try a ceramic flat iron, if that doesn't work there is another way that I haven't personally tried, but I heard it works a lot better. Have someone use a clothes iron and iron you hair straight on an ironing board. I know this girl that has hair like yours and uses that technique. Or, just ask your hair dresser on some ways. Hope it works!

Use an anti-frizz serum after you straighten your hair. And if you live in a humid area, look into different ways to styling it, like scrunching.

well if your hair is curley then wash i recomend getting strightening shampoo it barely works but it helps some and it works better on curley hair then dry it or buy a strightener that works on wet hair

I have the same problem as you do, (my friends call me the frizzy haired freak) I straighten my hair with straightening gel and after I straighten my hair with a special straightener called the chi (you can get it at bed bath and beyond) and then go over my hair with a real iron.
