what i do is after i shower, i apply sunsilk anti poof, de-frizz and john frieda's frizz ease on my hair. then i let it air dry (blow drying damages it) or blow dry it if i dont have much time. then i use herbal essences dangerously straight spray right before i straighten it. i put my hair straightener on the high setting and then straighten it in sections piece by piece with a round barrel brush. and then after wards, i wait for it to cool down then spray it again with the herbal essences spray and sunsilk shine spray sometimes. then my hair is straight and not poofy! :D

I am from Columbus Ohio, and I just recently got my hair thermal reconditioning 8/4/07 at City Cuts in Columbus, Ohio. My hair is almost how you described yours except mine was very damaged. Because I have tried relaxer, perms and etc. But none of course have worked. This treatment has been the greatest investment I have ever made. I also have bleach on my hair and they were still able to do this. It took them 7 and a half hours to do my hair at $80.00/hr.
