How do you keep your hair straight when outside in moisture??

My hair is naturally wavy/curly and i wake up every morning early to straighten my hair. I have gym classes outside in my school and it's been pretty rainy, wet and windy outside lately. when i come back from outside, i look just like i did in the morning except worse and it's totally embarrassing. my hair doesn't stay straight! Any tips?

I use Lee Stafford dehumidifier (excuse spelling please!) its great - really stops the frizz from wet and humid weather. When I had PE (gym class) outside I used to wear a hoodied top because once hair is wet there is nothing you can really do with it only dry and straighten it again. May also be worth looking into wet to straight straighteners that can be used when hair is damp. Hope this helps!

You should wrap your hair if it is geting a lot of moisture in it.

i have hair like yours and occassionally straighten it but i can't be bothered with the constant battle all the time! try working with it instead, style it in the morning and after your shower, get some curly products, they really make your curls more defined and less frizzy. that's what i do anyway, besides it doesn't take up so much time and cause so much damage like everyday straightening does

try an oil or i am not sure whats its called its in a blue can its a moisturizing oil you can get it at walmart or any of those stores! its made for africian american hair but it does wonders when its humid outside just make sure to only use a little bit or else your hair will get greasy

other than that try and put it up while your at gym class
