I just saw this on the Today Show I think, they said to use epsom salt and water, in a squirt bottle. I guess it's the salt that gives you the beachy waves.

They have a lot of products that help curl, it sucks to go through a bunch of products but sometimes that's what it takes because one product doesn't work in everyone's hair...or that's my experience, anyways. I use marc anthony curls in the spray bottle...You shower, wash your hair, towel dry, spray it on, comb it through and scrunch it with your hands. It works well for me, it's at CVS or Walgreens or some grocery stores...
I'm sure there are products that are a lot more expensive that may work better, but the marc anthony one works well for me...good luck!
