How do you blow dry your hair straight if you have naturally waivy and frizzy hair? Do you wash your hair, put some kind of silk serem in it, and then blow dry it with a brush? Does anyone else have any ideas.......or any products that I could use before I blow dry my hair and what kind of brush do you use to blow dry your hair? thanks.

I have frizzy hair with a little wave and I use John fredricks frizz control shampoo and conditioner and then they also have a blow serum for frizzy hair I use that also and then I just blow it out and keep pulling down with my fingers and a vent brush and then when I am done I put a about a dime's worth of bed head the one in the pink bottle for frizzy hair

There are many ways to do that but when my stylist straightened my hair, she used Bed Head Smooth and Shine on it and blew it dry straight. If it is still not straight enough, use a straightener on it as well.

I don't have wavy hair, but its not perfectly straight. i use fructis(sp?) its a green bottle hair gell. when your hair is still damp, not wet, spray it all over your hair from root 2 tip and then some on your brush. when you blow dry brush from root 2 tip with your blow dryer following. I have very curly hair (my dad is half black). When I want to wear my hair straight. I section it into 6 sections. I blow dry each separately and pull with a large round brush ( or just my hand). I use Frizz ease, straightening cream. After I dry a section I run through it with a flat iron. It is a long tedious process but worth it for me. I hate my curly hair. For me if I try to just blow dry my whole head at once, then it won't go totally straight. I'll get wavy spots, or my root area will still be crimped looking. After I dry it I can get by for about 1 more day before have to shampoo it, but I know some people who go as much as a week. Personally I can't go that long without washing my hair. The greasy look is not for me.

I use john frieda's frizz-ease. They have a new version that helps protect hair from heat damage! follow directions on bottle. Using a round brush and drying in sections help. Make sure your hair is completely dry, or it will start to wave. Also, straighten in small sections with a flat iron. Look for an iron that is solid ceramic, not just plated, you will have better results. Finish off with a light spray of anti-humidity hairspray and a cool shot from your hair dryer to seal the straightness! I like the spry by Pantene, doesn't leave hair sticky! Best wishes!

I wash it and condition it really good. I let it dry a little bit on its own and then I use a huge metal round brush with plastic bristles and then blow dry straight. The round metal in the brush gets warm with the warm air from your blow dryer and it works at the same time as a huge curling iron. It really works, and since the brush is so big you finish in less time. Also make sure your blow dryer is a 1875w, that helps too.

I usually use a clothes iron to straighten my hair but if you want to know how, use straightening shampoo and conditioner ( try" Herbal Essence's dangerously straight "shampoo and conditioner ). towel dry. Comb hair through with a paddle brush or a rounded brush-whatever works best for you ( paddle brushes work best for me) . Then use "Herbal Essences' none of your frizzness " leave in cream- work through hair. After that, with your hair blowdryer, blow downward on hair with brush- do it by sections or one layer at a time.For a lasting appearence, use a little bit of hairspray.
