How to keep hair straight!?!?

i have curly hair. after i straighten it..if its raining outside it just goes back to curl, or even if im walking around with my friends. what is a good way to keep hair straight throughout the day..even the rain.. ???

( and ive straightened it before..it doesnt stay throughout the day)

pleaseeee help, im tired of wearing my hair in braids and ponytails..

also..how much is the chemical straightening and where can you get it done?!

when you get out of the shower immediately brush it straight, and then flip your head over and brush out your hair, turn the blow dryer on and as you are brushing with one hand, hold the blowdryer and follow through what you are doing on the other hand.

Start it so that the "butt" of the blowdryer is by your face, so you are blowdrying the top of your hair even though it is flipped over.

Once you are done with that, put some biosilk or some frizz ease/ or smoothing product in your hair, to stop damage and controll poofyness. remember to put the product only on COMPLETELY DRY HAIR .

and then section your hair out into inch sections and go through with your straightener on as high temperature as it can go. start from the top and hold the straightener for about 5 seconds at the top and then go VERY SLOWLY down making sure each strand is dead straight before you move on.

This takes about 1 - 2 hours. Yes it takes time but it really works! Ive done styling for about two years and I tell everyone to do this, it really works.

Oh, and comming from a girl with wavy hair, YOU ARE SOO LUCKY YOU HAVE CURLY HAIR!! seriously my hair NEVER EVER curls!!!

If you want to wear it curly and you think it is frizzy, then all you need to do is put product for frizz ease or smoothining cream in it when its dry, bio silk can work when its wet and let it dry. For straighting your hair always needs to be dry when you are putting product in, but for natural drying, it can be wet. (I suggest bio silk from costco or any beauty salon, its just cheaper and in a bigger bottle if you buy it from costco. But john frida frizz ease is good too.)

Do not consider chemail straightening. It is basically the worst thing you can for your hair. Sometimes my hair isnt straight because i try to straighten it when its still damp. For better results, your hair needs to be dry. Also pick a really good straightener. I researched a lot and i found that the Sedu is the best straightener.

Darling just go with your gorgeous curly locks. While you're trying to straighten your hair, the rest of us with dead straight hair are wishing we had some curls...... However if you want to straighten it you will need to do it everyday with a good ceramic hair straightener. My daughter has really curly hair and for 2 years tried to keep it straight. Then she gave in and wore it curly and now everyone tells her how fantastic her hair is. No one said that to her before!

ok.. hoenstly this really depends on your racial background...

my hair is also very curly.. as soon as humidity hits it it shivles up. first off you really must take care of it. heep it moisturized. if you're just flat ironing w/ out any product you're gonna kill you hair w. heat %26amp; make it frizzy. u don't want that. sfter i wash i use something called perm repair. it's not only for peopl w/ perms it's for people who use an extereme amout of heat on their hair as well. it comes in this white tube, jind of like toothpaste you can find it in walmart where they keep all the "african american" hair products. then i blow dry w/ a blow dryer that has a comb attachment. bloydrying es seential b.c . some ppl blow dry %26amp; have not blow dried all the way .... a good bloydry job takes a solid 45 minutes... then i put in some more then i flat iron. on my scalp i use something called fansatix hair thinckener( also found in the same section) it doesn't make your hair thicker but it.s a very light weight moistureizure .. you can us it on your hair to but it is very greasy.. so use this spearingly!!!

they key to having your flat straight hair come out right is to let it sit in over night..... yes overnight... you must wrap it 7 wear a scarf.

to wrap you hair is a little hard to explain.. but i'll try. make a part in the middle the middle of ypur hair %26amp; you wanna woek you way to the left take a hard brush %26amp; brush the left side downbehind your left ear. then take the other half(closer to your right ear %26amp; comb it forward.then comb it to left also... every thing is going to the left!!!! then do the same w/ the back of your hair... comb every thing to the leftaround your head, you need the brush to make it tight. take a scarf %26amp; tie it up tight.. in the morning take a barbie doll brush or a wide toothed comb %26amp; take it you %26amp; style as you want it. i hope this helps... :)
