I need help with straight hair?

i NEED HELP WITH MY STRAIGHT HAIR OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! how can i make it curly i curl it and one second latre the curl is out!!!!!!!! it is so aggervating HOw can i keep it curly i have no body in my hair. i need more thing to do with my hair than put it in a ponytail or messy bun. It gets pretty boring and keeps looking the same. WELL PLEASE HELP I NEED IDEAS. AND IF I HAVE TO BUY STUFF MAKE SURE ITS NOT EXPENSIVE. thank you.

Since your hair is very straight, it will be difficult to keep the curl even with a curly perm. What you can do is, buy a leave-in setting lotion, rub it through the hair, roll your hair in rollers (big rollers if your hair is long), be sure to brush each piece of hair out smoothly when you are going to put it onto the roller. After you roll your hair, use a strong hold hair spray, spray all over the hair and go under a hair dryer to dry the hair. Be sure it dries really well. My hair is long so I stay under the dryer for 2 hours. I look at a movie so I don't feel like I am under the dryer too long. After the hair is dry, take out the rollers, starting from the back/bottom, as you take each one out, you will have one big curl and the hair a little stiff, you will take that one big curl and pull it apart a little piece at at time, maybe about a half inch and as you pull each piece apart, take your finger and curl each piece around it, in the same direction the curl is going. Keep doing this until you you get out all the rollers and you will have a full head of curls. They will be nice shiny curls. If the curls pull up too tight and you want them to be longer curls, you can clip a hair pin onto the end of some of the curls and the weight of the pin will pull them down, leave it like that for a little while, then take them out. well you can try buying heat-rollers, your hair sounds a lot like mine, i try curling it and the curls fall out right away for me too. but heat rollers worked really well for me. or after you get done curling it, you can spray hairspray on the curls and hopefully that will hold it. if you have a problem with the body in your hair, you can buy special shampoos that restore that body.

use a hot curler. also, they have some products out there [i'm not sure on the cost... but it's not that expensive...] and it helps your hair keep curls. i'm right there with ya. my hair is PENCIL straight, and i cant do ANYTHING to it. but if i feel like a change, that always worked for me. also, use hairspray. tresseme [sp?] works really really well. holds it in place like NOBODY'S business. and it's pretty darn cheap. also, try using mousse and gels for just some volume. well, good luck to you!

Have you ever tried sleeping in foam rollers. I'm talking about the rollers that are pink that your mom probably wore in her teen years. I think you can get a similar style and pair at stores like CVS or Walgreens. The come in packs of 10 or so. I would suggest putting them in your hair at night both wet and dry - see which one works best. It's probably easier if someone else does it for you. The are easy to put in and should make your hair curly the next day. Sleeping in them though - for a good 7 hours is the best way to get results.

Yea I wish I was in your position. Try having curly, wavy, poofy, frizzy hair (the poofy/frizzy part comes from my father, who actually had a natural afro in the 70's early 80's and he's white). I have to straighten my hair every day because my hair is just so unmanageable if i do anything else with it. For curls, spritz a little bit of hairspray on your hair just before curling it, spritz a little bit more while the curlers or it, and after you take the curlers out spritz a little bit more. When I say sprits just barely press down on the "sprayer".
